On July 1st MYETV turns 17 and never like this year we celebrate with dozens of updates and new features that will take our platform- [Platform: the set of the main domain and all the subdomain of a particular website; also the computer architecture and equipment using a particular operating system] - to another level; this year we have in fact decided to concentrate all the updates on the anniversary day and then find ourselves again at the end of the year with many of the features that will come out of the beta testing phase. In these days we have already updated and added many new features but in the coming days we will continue to add them until July 1st 2025 the day in which we will publish a new colored theme. All the updates and new features will concern the entire platform, even the terms of service and the privacy policy that we recommend you consult once modified based on the new features added. This year, as briefly mentioned last year, we wanted to adopt an artificial intelligence that initially allows us to translate phrases and texts even complex, create images or extrapolate the description of images; but it has not yet ended here. Because by the end of this year there will be many other novelties and surprises that concern artificial intelligence; we just have to continue our work of innovation of the platform.
Here is a list of things that we have already added and/or that we will add in the coming days, obviously there will also be some surprises that we will add once the features are actually active on the platform:
- A new colored theme to present at 1st July 2025: Moucha Mousse 2025 Summer: this theme color is inspired by the Pantone color of the year 2025 called “Moucha Mousse” with a secondary color called “Dejavù Blue” a dark blue complmentary to the primary color
- Speeded up the entire platform the the maximum possible: time to first byte 0.06 seconds, speed index 1.02 seconds
- Added the new blog system to give the possibility to the active networks to create their own platform of publishing post (maximum 10,000 characters per article) related also by rich-media and html. They will be reachable by the network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] - homepage and will be a list in chronological order; the articles will have the advantage of having all the existing privacy controls of the normal content- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - (geo-ip, geo-language, privacy visibility, privacy access- [Access the simple access to a website as a visitor] - ) but will be formatted in html specifically for textual content- [Textual Content: it is text-only content shared by a network] - . A small revolution of our platform that will allow much more freedom of expression.
- Blog posts can be linked to contents- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - and will be displayed as comments under various linked content; each blog post can be linked to a maximum of 3 contents, these posts will be displayed under these contents in chronological order. [beta-testing-only]
- Added the new cover image to the homepages of the networks that can be uploaded from the network owners- [Network Owner: the owner(s) of the referenced network of contents (or Network)] - , the cover background will be filled by the most used color of the image uploaded; can be only one public cover for a network and the image selected as a cover will be publicly visible from everyone.
- Fixed the network homepage urls. New network homepage internal URLs; the various order sections of the timelines can be reachable directly by URL.
- Presentation of the new translation platform at translate.myetv.tv and the new neural translation models
- Translations for some languages have been greatly improved through MarianMT neural models with fallback on Argon Translate models
- Added the new image to text ai model on translate.myetv.tv with the automatic translation from english to 25 different languages
- Added the new text to image ai model (only for registered users) on translate.myetv.tv with the automatic translation from 25 different languages to english
- Translation for everyone, timelines offer a button for the translation of content texts (owners can disable it for each content or for their entire network) plus translation caches are now encrypted with AES
- WYSIWYG now are translated in 25 different languages
- The sharer- [Sharer: the section of the platform with which the networks can share content, inside or outside of the platform] - is improved with some new features
- The search of network is improved and now the search engine- [Search Engine: is the application that deals with the search for content, networks or anything else on the platform] - is visible when no network found
- Right-click in the timelines now shows the default browser menu, the same for network information (menu can be opened by press the vertical ellipsis button)
- Cleaned and optimized databases that will use less resources
- Improved image cache via CDN with new urls
- The search engine now searches also in the descriptions of the contents
- Added the possibility to recharge the virtual wallet of someone with a simple network url (through the transfer of digital credits from one wallet to another); a fee of 1 digital credit is always applied
- Added the virtual wallet also for public networks and a new role to decide wich administrator can view it and/or transfer credits from it
- Changed the number of contents visible in the timelines at default: now 20 contents can be viewed without losing any performances
- The choice of codecs in the video player (vp9 or av1) has been added
- Added the brand new 2k and 4k encoding with the av1 codec, in the encoding process; this update is a real revolution for the entire platform and we want to update even more video encoding with new features in the future
- History is now also active on content networks and filters content viewed recently from a given account- [Account: an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] - for that specific content network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] -
- Implemented a new criptography mode to secure email and usernames
- A new hash algorithm has been implemented for passwords called “argon2id” more modern and secure
- Using zstandard compression instead of gzip or brotli, with fallback if the client does not support it; this will speed up the entire platform and use more cacheable contents. The graph illustrates the benefits of the new compression
- Modified the external url scraping system, from now on the external url information will be updated automatically only after 7 days after the last update (it will still be possible to request the update via the content modification page)
- The external url scraping system has been greatly improved by simulating access from browsers
- Added two decimal numbers to digital credits count
- Shared advertising earnings, you can earn Digital Credits simply by watching at advertisements with your own account; in the virtual wallet section “promotion and offers”
- New feature called “temporary privacy” that changes the privacy of content at a date/time decided by the owners (for example in one day from public to followers- [Follower: a follower refers to a person who subscribes to your account or network in order to receive your updates] - only); now the owners of the content can activate it for all the contents
- Added new permissions for the roles for network’s owners
- Major mycloud updates: added collaborative networks mycloud and increased the space limit to 10GB
Special accounts- [Special Accounts: an account with elevated privileges and/or access to special sections] - updates: some of the features of the special accounts are updated to increase limits; another major special accounts updates will come in the next weeks - MY EXTENSIONS updates:
- The “Translate text” extension is changing the name in “Automatic Translator”: the extension can be activated to automate the translations in timeline without the need to press the translate button
- The new “Tips Digital Credits” extensions: this extension make possible to all the network to receive digital credits from their followers, as donations
- The extension “Playwall” will be renamed in “TV Network” and the url will change from /playwall/ to /tv/
- The posts of this blog are updated to change thhe words from “MYAPPS- [MYAPPS: applications that the owners of the networks can build within them to add additional functionality to the content or to the entire network] - ” to “My Extensions“

- Native Apps updates:
- Microsoft app now open new tab by default with a new app window (not in the default browser), this is for ctrl+click or center click on the mouse; a new browser window can always be opene by right-click on the link.

- Improved the design for some features of the platform
- WAF (Web Application Firewall) is now updated to the latest version
- Changes about the policy on name of the pubblic networks: now public networks can change it’s name without lost all the followers; a notification will be sent to all followers and the name of the network cannot be changed for almost one month after the change. [coming soon]
- Email notifications are now restored
- Recursive emails have undergone an important change
- Terms of Services and Pirvacy Policy will be updated to add all these updates
It’s not over here. From May 17th (today) until July 1st, 2025 we will work tirelessly to bring even more news and updates to the entire MYETV platform. Afterwards we will wish good holidays with the hope to meet again at the end of the year for a further celebration. This year in fact we decided to present in a single form all the novelties and we decided the celebration of the 17th anniversary of MYETV that is July 1st, 2025; unlike the other years one which we did great updates throughout the year. The nvoità presented ein this update will be considered in beta-testing until the end of the year where we will make a great update. This year we focused on how to integrate in the platform an artificial intelligence for various purposes, we thought that first it was necessary to try out the various aspects on a separate platform, so we created translate.myetv.tv which is a neural translation platform of texts in different languages as well as generation of images from texts and/or vice versa as the generation of texts from a certain video; then we will also integrate these features on MYETV.
These 17 years are proof that we will not give up an inch and thank all of you with a text generated by a generative artificial intelligence:
