We are proud to announce a powerful new update to the MyCloud system on MYETV, introducing long-awaited features that empower both individual users and public content- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - networks with more control, more flexibility, and more space than ever before.
🔐 Private and Network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] - Folders for Everyone
From now on, every private user account- [Account: an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] - will have access- [Access the simple access to a website as a visitor] - to a dedicated private folder within MyCloud—perfect for storing and managing personal files securely.
Meanwhile, public networks—the collaborative spaces on MYETV—will now be able to manage and access multiple network-specific folders within MyCloud. These folders are designed for teamwork, file sharing, and content coordination among network members, with full control granted to the network administrators.
🧩 Redesigned Interface for Enhanced Visibility
To support these changes, the MyCloud interface has been completely redesigned. The new layout provides a clearer and more intuitive view of all available folders, whether they belong to a private account- [Account: an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] - or a public network. For network owners- [Network Owner: the owner(s) of the referenced network of contents (or Network)] - , this means a seamless experience in switching between their personal storage and their network’s shared folders.
🔐 New Role Permission: “Manage MyCloud”
We’ve also added a brand new permission called “Manage MyCloud”—this can be granted to moderators of public networks. This gives trusted users the ability to help manage files within a network’s MyCloud storage. Of course, this permission is always active by default for the network or account- [Account: an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] - owner (administrator).
This new permission system introduces more flexibility in delegating responsibilities and helps foster better teamwork within networks, while maintaining full security and control.
Please note: upload- [Upload: the action by a owners of the network of sending an image or audio or video file (named as content) from the device] - something in a public network will automatically use the mycloud of that network; when a file is deleted on mycloud, if published it will be deleted also in the network homepages and viceversa.
🔄 File Transfers Between Private and Network Folders
Another exciting feature included in this update is the ability to transfer files from your personal private folder to any of your associated public networks. Just like moving files between different user accounts, this functionality allows creators to easily share their content across different environments on MYETV without needing to re-upload or duplicate their data.
📦 Storage Boost: From 2GB to 10GB for Free Accounts
And we’re not stopping there! As part of this update, we’ve increased the maximum storage limit for every free account from 2GB to 10GB. This applies to both private folders and network folders. That means each user can now enjoy 10GB of private storage and, if they own a public network, an additional 10GB of collaborative storage per network. Special accounts- [Special Accounts: an account with elevated privileges and/or access to special sections] - can increase the space available for every networks owned.
Upload Boost: from 100MB to 1GB for Free Accounts
Starting today, we have also increased the upload limit for all free accounts that goes from the old 100MB to 1GB (always possibly expandable through special acocunts); this is a huge change and allows us to upload large files even with a free account. These changes will also increase the limits imposed on special accounts that will become more convenient.
These new features mark a revolutionary step forward for MYETV, making it easier than ever for individuals and teams to manage their content. Whether you’re a solo creator storing personal files or a network owner- [Network Owner: the owner(s) of the referenced network of contents (or Network)] - collaborating with a team, the new MyCloud system gives you the tools you need to grow and thrive.
We are excited to see how you’ll use these new capabilities—and as always, we’re working on even more improvements coming soon.
Stay tuned and keep creating!

Please note: These changes take time to work 100% and are considered in beta testing for the next 14 days
