SafeTV: the Artificial Intelligence for good

The brand new “SafeTV” feature inside MYETV is an union of tools  to keep the community safe; the artificial intelligence can notice the users, under certains conditions, if the content-[Contents]: [every content intended as text, images, audio or video] that they are watching have some sort of restrictions like PEGI, age notification, geoip, geolanguage or many others. It’s act like a guide to new users.

The feature bring the notifications, that can be closed one by one or keep opened, when a content is restricted or in other part of the website where they are needed; these notifications are marked as “SafeTV Notify” with a “?” at the left. To disable completely notifications of SafeTV you can deselect the check-box in the “Timeline Options” section of the main menu.
When this checkbox is selected, the notifications will appear above the restricted contents-[Contents]: [every content intended as text, images, audio or video]; if you deselect this checkbox, all notifications about sensible contents will be hided. This option work with a simple cookie that last 360 days from the changed. The SAFETV checkbox is selected by default for everyone.

In the future the deactivation of this feature could be reserved only to subscribed users who have specified the birthday’s date.

SENSIBLE CONTENTS FILTERS

This option (in the main menu at SETTINGS – TIMELINE OPTIONS) let you select what type of sensible contents can be escluded from the view of timelines (it work also in the search engine-[Search Engine]: [is the application that deals with the search for content, networks or anything else on the platform]). This option works thanks to the artificial intelligence of the PEGI restrictions; this feature is for the contents reported by users and/or restricted by a moderator and will hide only that contents, not the entire network-[Network of Contents]: [is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] (you can already silence the entire network). You can chose what type of filter to apply one or more than one, the contents will be always accessible from a direct link but will be hided from all the timelines, as a precaution. This option work with a simple cookie, saved on the device, that last 360 days from the changed.

CATEGORY OF THE CONTENTS FILTERS

This option (in the main menu at SETTING – TIMELINE OPTIONS) let you select what type of category of the content (such as music, films, events or other categories) can be escluded from the view of timelines (it work also in the search engine). This option works thank to the selected category of the content specified by the owner of the network-[Network Owner]: [the owner(s) of the referenced network of contents (or Network)] of contents; please note: the category of any content can be changed in every moment by the owner of the content-[Content Owner]: [the owner(s) of a content (usually includes all owners of the network that shared it)]. You can chose what type of filter to apply one or more than one, the contents will be always accessible from a direct link but will be hided from all the timelines, as a precaution. In some country of the World this option can restrict also the accessAccess [the simple access to a website as a visitor] of the content, not only from the view of timelines, and can be selected by default without the possibility of opt-out (when selected you can always see what type of category is escluded). This option work with a simple cookie, saved on the device, that last 360 days from the changed.
