These days we are updating the new virtual remote control that we have called “MYRC” which means “My Remote Control” with brand new customization features; from 2024 it will be possible to customize MYRC with your own channels via simple JSON files; for example, have you ever thought about changing the programming of the remote control to replace the connection to the number 1 button with a website/image/video/streaming of your liking? Before you couldn’t. Now you can.
With the help of simple JSON files you can customize the virtual remote control channels with your own; in fact you only need to know two things:
- The channel number you want to customize
- The internet link (url) of the content-[Contents]: [every content intended as text, images, audio or video] you want to reach
Enter this information in a JSON format file and load it on the remote control, thanks also to our guided procedures; this JSON will be saved in your MYCLOUD where you can verify it, modify it and/or delete it and make a new one; for this reason we will enable the loading of json files in MYCLOUD. This way your customization will be available on all devices where your account-[Account]: [an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] is connected; this customization will not be possible without a minimum free account.
How to use the MYRC+JSON feature?

To open the JSON configuration, just press the keyboard button at the bottom right; a modal window will open with instructions for creating your first JSON and assigning the existing combinations: channel number – url. When you select JSON as the source, every time you type a number the URL linked to that number will open, in the mode decided when saving the settings. To maintain the default configuration, simply select “MYETV channels” from the JSON file selection select box. The JSON file created will be saved in a special folder in your MYCLOUD and can also be edited manually. In the future more than one JSON file can be saved and selected as source.

Search Engine-[Search Engine]: [is the application that deals with the search for content, networks or anything else on the platform] update
The search engine is now located on all pages of the platform-[Platform]: [the the set of the main domain and all the subdomain of a particular website; also the computer architecture and equipment using a particular operating system]; furthermore, the position of the button to hide the search textbox or show the search textbox has been changed while the data protection button has been permanently moved to the top left menu under “Security and privacy – Data protection”. The official document of the search engine is updated with these information. In addition to all these updates, the search engine has also been updated so that when any numeric or alpha-numeric key is pressed (out of any input box or textarea) the focus is changed to the search engine.
