Privacy, please (for contents too!)

Only about a year ago we introduced a very useful feature in MYETV, calling the update “war update” we introduced the possibility to hide from the public homepage all the contents- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - of a specific network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] - that will only be visible through the homepage of the network that has published; today we are honored to have improved that functionality and extended it to single contents as well: from today even single contents can be hidden from the public homepage and visible only through the homepage of the content network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] - that shared them. This idea was born thanks to one of our collaborators, from Ukraine, and from the desire to guarantee an extra sense of privacy for everyone and with this new update, the creativity of the networks will improve with more exclusives; the idea was called “war update” precisely because our homepage was turning into a battlefield, which some of us don’t like too much. For this reason we have tried to “protect” our users with this first feature, now improved also for each single content- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - .

In the “edit profile” page, or in the edit network page, this is the section to hide all the contents from the public homepage (this will affect every contents of that network):

In the “edit content” page this is the section to hide from the public homepage one content at time:

That options can be modified only by who have the right role permission to edit network or edit content; so, from today, keep in mind that from today not all contents will be visible throug the MYETV homepage but you can see them by visit the homepage of the network who have published them, for example the network at https://www.myetv.tv/network/myetv.

Thanks for reading this important update.
