Today, we are thrilled to announce a major upgrade to how we keep our platform- [Platform: the set of the main domain and all the subdomain of a particular website; also the computer architecture and equipment using a particular operating system] - safe, organized, and respectful for everyone.
As our community of creators and viewers continues to grow, so does the sheer volume of amazing content- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - being uploaded every single day. To make sure that the right content reaches the right audience and to protect our younger viewers from inappropriate material we are officially rolling out our brand-new Automated AI Content Labeling System.
We know that whenever a platform mentions “Artificial Intelligence” and “Moderation” in the same sentence, creators understandably get nervous. You might be wondering: Is a robot going to delete my videos? Will an algorithm silently change my descriptions?
The short answer is: Absolutely not. We believe in radical transparency. We built this system from scratch, hosting it entirely on our own secure, local servers to protect your privacy. Today, we want to take you under the hood and explain exactly how our new AI works, what it can do, and most importantly what it cannot do.
1. Methodical and Careful: how fast does it work?
Unlike platforms that use aggressive, real-time algorithms that instantly block content the second you hit “publish,” our approach is much more deliberate.
Our AI operates in the background, working in careful batches. Currently, the system is designed to analyze up to 50 posts every 30 minutes.
This means our AI moderation is not 100% real-time. Why did we design it this way? Because analyzing context, nuance, and intent requires heavy computational power. By pacing the system, we ensure our servers remain lightning-fast for your viewers, while the AI takes the necessary time to accurately review pending content without rushing the process.
2. The Encryption- [Encryption: to change electronic information or signals into a secret code (= system of letters, numbers, or symbols) that people cannot understand or use on normal equipment] - Fortress: why the AI cannot edit your content
One of the biggest fears creators have is that an algorithm might automatically alter their titles, descriptions, or tags. We have completely eliminated this possibility at a structural level.
Our AI is strictly “read-only.” When you upload- [Upload: the action by a owners of the network of sending an image or audio or video file (named as content) from the device] - content to MYETV.tv, your textual data is heavily encrypted in our database using advanced AES cryptography- [Cryptography: the practice of creating and understanding codes that keep information secret] - . When the AI needs to review a post, the system temporarily decrypts the text in the server’s memory just long enough for the AI to read it.
Because of this strict cryptographic lock, the AI physically cannot modify your content. Even if the system experienced a glitch and attempted to rewrite your description, the encryption key would reject the change, and the data would become an undecipherable string of broken code. Your words are your words, and they remain permanently untouched and protected by military-grade encryption.
3. What the AI Can Do: the autonomous labeling system
So, what exactly is the AI doing? Think of it as a highly efficient librarian. Its sole purpose is to read the context of your upload and assign it a specific Regulatory Label.
This ensures that audiences (especially families and younger viewers) are warned about sensitive topics or restricted from seeing adult content. When the AI reviews a post, it must autonomously assign one and only one of the following 16 strict categories:
- No Restrictions: Completely safe for all ages and general audiences.
- 12 Years Old: Content suitable only for audiences aged 12 and older.
- 16 Years Old: Content suitable only for audiences aged 16 and older.
- 18 Years Old: Explicit content strictly reserved for adult viewers.
- Violence: Contains violent scenes, fighting, or gore.
- Bad Language: Includes offensive words, heavy insults, or profanity.
- Fear: Scary content, horror elements, or disturbing imagery.
- Sex: Sexual content, nudity, or erotic references.
- Drugs: Depicts drug use, alcohol abuse, or regulated substance references.
- Discrimination: Contains racism, hate speech, xenophobia, or homophobia.
- Gambling: Betting, casinos, or the promotion of online gambling.
- Internet Promotions: Spam, unsolicited advertisements, or click-bait schemes.
- Flashing Lights: Contains stroboscopic effects or rapid visual flashes (epilepsy warning).
- Fast Scenes: Features rapid scene cuts or intense, dizzying motion.
- Manipulation: Psychological manipulation, cult promotion, or scams.
- Not Verified News: Unverified claims, fake news, or misinformation.
If your content is completely safe, it gets assigned Category 1, and you remain free to edit it. If the AI detects sensitive material, it assigns the appropriate restrictive label and locks the category to protect viewers (the owner of the content- [Content Owner: the owner(s) of a content (usually includes all owners of the network that shared it)] - will be disabled to edit the restriction category for that content); and if some of the contents- [Contents: every content intended as text, images, audio or video] - will be restricted, the system will also inform the owner of the content with an internal notification.
4. What the AI Cannot Do: humans rule the platform
This brings us to the most important rule of our new system: An Artificial Intelligence will never have the power to delete or hide your content.
We strongly believe that while machines are great at organizing data, they lack the human empathy, cultural understanding, and context needed to make final judgments on freedom of expression.
- The AI cannot delete a content.
- The AI cannot issue a ban on your account- [Account: an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password] - .
- The AI cannot hide your content from the platform entirely.
If a piece of content is so severe that it violates our Terms of Service and needs to be removed from MYETV.tv, only a human moderator can make that decision and execute the deletion.
5. The Human Appeal: we are always here to listen
Artificial Intelligence is incredibly smart, but it isn’t perfect. Sometimes, it might misinterpret a sarcastic joke, misunderstand a documentary about a sensitive topic, or flag a gaming video incorrectly. We call these “false positives.”
If our AI assigns a restrictive label to your content and you believe it made a mistake, you have the absolute right to challenge it. We have built a dedicated support infrastructure to ensure there is always a “human in the loop.”
