MYCLOUD undergoes a major update in terms of use and security; we have implemented new security controls to keep all saved data even safer, we have solved numerous problems. The upload- [Upload: the action by a owners of the network of sending an image or audio or video file (named as content) from the device] - and publication procedure of files has been speeded up, now immediately after the upload it is possible to obtain the link to publish the file in your content network- [Network of Contents: is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] - ; added audio only upload (mp3, wav, mpeg etc.); furthermore, the upload has been limited to only one file at a time for those who do not have a certain special account- [Special Accounts: an account with elevated privileges and/or access to special sections] - (you will no longer be able to upload entire folders), it will be possible to extend this limit with the relative special account through the “upload multiple files at once” feature (the available features have already been updated on the special accounts page). The upload procedure for covers and front-line images has also been speeded up, the images are now instantly published on your content network and you are immediately redirected to the information update page (such as title and description); furthermore, the images published as covers or front-line images can only be viewed through the homepage of the content network that uploaded them (not on the public homepage). These updates are significant and represent greater security for the files saved on your MYCLOUD for this reason we wanted to inform you of this change; the files are protected through heavy encryption- [Encryption: to change electronic information or signals into a secret code (= system of letters, numbers, or symbols) that people cannot understand or use on normal equipment] - , with cookies and authentication tokens, with temporary encrypted tokens, headers check and files are provided with hashes (md5 and sha256) to verify integrity (unauthorized changes); in addition to all these we prevent the upload of malicious software- [Program/Software: the instructions that control what a computer does; computer programs] - and there are automatic heuristic scans of files against viruses and/or malware or other types of malicious software.
The MYCLOUD has transformed into a little gem that few can afford, thanks also to the tireless work of all the developers who have customized it for the needs of MYETV.
