Security Updates Bulletin – end of 2019

In these week our team worked hard to find solutions about the recent facts that our main official Facebook page is without any administration, then the first decision has been made: we will intentionally broke the contract with Facebook by excluding all server-side and client-side communications between the two infrastructures; this means the authentication plugin for Facebook will no longer be supported and many more; this also involves the Google authentication plugin that is no longer be supported. More in particular, all the oauth, oauth2 or any type of other third party services is banned to read or write any private data also with the author consent.

This makes a lot of changes and it started a little revolution.
The privacy policy and the relative documents will be updated in the shortest time possible with the relative changes.

The cookies acceptance is now implicit, this mean that a banner will show at the bottom of the page to inform any visitor that the platform-[Platform]: [the the set of the main domain and all the subdomain of a particular website; also the computer architecture and equipment using a particular operating system] uses cookies. The registration and the login-[Login]: [an act of logging in to a computer, database, website or system] is now opened to everyone with the cookie consent implicit, the user no longer have to click to “accept” before accessing at the pages and using advanced functionalities.

The signup page now is more readable and includes a space for the encryption-[Encryption]: [to change electronic information or signals into a secret code (= system of letters, numbers, or symbols) that people cannot understand or use on normal equipment] keys used during the registration process.

All the third party authentication plugins are hidden. The oauth,oauth2 services will remain active till the 1st January 2020 and the oauth,oauth2 platform will be definetly shut down, after that date, and will being completely inaccessible from the public.

Our authentication methods are safe enough to bring all of us to a new level. Transparency. There is no better security than being transparent. Enjoy https://www.myetv.tv in the safest possible way.

That’s all, folks! Have a nice days!!!
