Signed Email from MYETV

The email notifications are important for us not only for marketing purposes but also for updates, important notifications and much more. So these days we’ve added encription to our outgoing emails to increase security and delivery of the messages. We just updated this blog post https://blog.myetv.tv/emails-info/ with the new specifications as follow:

  • SPF: SPF is a standard email authentication method. SPF helps protect the domain against spoofing, and helps prevent outgoing messages from being marked as spam by receiving servers.
  • DMARC: DMARC, which stands for “Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance”, is an email authentication, policy, and reporting protocol.
  • DKIM: DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is an email authentication method designed to detect forged sender addresses in email (email spoofing), a technique often used in phishing and email spam.

Below you can find an example of the email encription techniques:

Any email we send this information is attached to the email itself.

Furthermore, we have also updated the system for sending individual emails via the backend for moderators; any email sent from admin@myetv.tv must maintain the format indicated at this url: https://blog.myetv.tv/emails-info/

SPF, DKIM and DMARC together with our proprietary anti-phishing technology are the first defense against email spoofing and spam, all the email sent are stored secured in our proprietary daabases; furthermore, thanks to Cloudflare, emails are encrypted through secure communications adding another layer of security.
