Organizing updates for November/December 2018: we are gonna start some brand new features for the entire MYETV‘s platform-[Platform]: [the the set of the main domain and all the subdomain of a particular website; also the computer architecture and equipment using a particular operating system], before the end of the year; adding new features and new ways to watch, store and transmit contents-[Contents]: [every content intended as text, images, audio or video]. For the months of November/December 2018 this document will be updated everytime we will add something new.
Some of new features and updates already available are:
- NETWORKS OF CONTENTS *URL updates*:
– From now all the networks are available also with the “MYRC NUMBER” in the URL. For example the URL https://www.myetv.tv/myetv-developers/ could be available also in this URL https://www.myetv.tv/1000/
– If the network-[Network of Contents]: [is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] have the PlayWall actived it will be available in these URL https://www.myetv.tv/myetv-developers/ or https://www.myetv.tv/1000/ or https://www.myetv.tv/myetv-developers/1000/
– If the network have the PlayWall actived it will be available also with the search engine-[Search Engine]: [is the application that deals with the search for content, networks or anything else on the platform] by adding an @ at the start of the number, for example @1000 and the URL will change accordingly. - NETWORKS OF CONTENTS *Design updates*:
– The design and the usability of all the Networks are improved
– Networks of Contents shows the playwall into the manifest and will show tips to users that don’t have activated the playwall (visible only to owners and only if there are some content-[Contents]: [every content intended as text, images, audio or video] already shared) - *NEW FEATURE*: “My Chronology” this feature brings to the logged user the list of all content viewed and others things like search engine terms searched. This feature is related to the account-[Account]: [an Account contains the personal information that is assigned to those who register and access with email and password].
- *NEW FEATURE*: handshake to who you are following and show only their contents
- MYAPPS-[MYAPPS]: [applications that the owners of the networks can build within them to add additional functionality to the content or to the entire network] updates:
– ADV APP: new app to show under the content or inside the Network of Contents-[Network of Contents]: [is the channel in which owners can post their content and the audience can see the contents posted by the owners] a custom ad code; there is also an option to show the same ad in all the contents of a particular Network of Contents
– HASHTAG HIGHLIGHTS APP: new app to show under the content a custom hashtag to show to the viewers or inside the Network of Contents a cloud of most viewed hashtags for that network
– EMSG Platform: updated some bugs and mistake, now you can search for networks to send messages with the MYRC search engine embedded inside the page. - General design updates: the right toolbar now show the MYRC search engine only inside the Network of Content and walls informations now have myapps if there are
- Fixed the load speed of the advertising platform with a click interaction (not on page load); page load is 40% faster, avoid timeouts
- Added the details of views in the content statistics (available only for owners of the network of contents)
- Added an option to set the initial quality of the viewers (for the owners of contents)
- Fixed an important mistake that blocks the email verification process when users signup
- Database engines got an huge updates in terms of speed, security and stability
- Added a new option for the ATUOSTART feature: now there are 3 options. AUTOSTART NO: the contents in the timeline will not automatically start; AUTOSTART YES: the contents in the timeline will automatically start when they are in the screen view, scrolling the mouse; AUTOSTART ONLY THE FIRST CONTENT: this is the new option, only the first content in the timeline will always automatically start. The new option will be the default one for every unregistered users.
The idea of these updates is changing the way we can use MYETV; improving the usability i hope to bring for the end of this year one of the best updates for the entire platform.
